  1. Funny that this is a problem he hinself had with the mainly uptempo second self-titled 'Rockie Robbins' set he released under MCA 6 years later. Anyway this 'Rockie Robbins' album is definitely a push play classic. For any soul lover not familar with the album, find this now rare CD /5(10).

During that same time, he made a demo that he sent to A&M Records, who later signed him to the label. In , he released his self-titled debut album.
